At the annual mooting of the Alumni Socioty of tho Nashville University, tho following summary was ordered ordered to be published. Tho Society mot on the evening of the 3d inst. Pros. N. Cross in tho Chair, when a chasto and classic address was delivered before it and tho public, by William Walker, Esq-, Esq-, Esq-, of New Orleans, After After which, tho minutes of tho preceding mooting wore read, and tho Society proceeded to transact its ordinary business. A. V. S.
