THE DICKSON HERALD NEWS FRIDAY, JUNE 29, 2012 5A OBITUARIES Ann Kimbro Ashworth Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Kimbro Ashworth, 77, of Dickson were conducted Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 2 pm from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Aaron Satch-well officiating. Place of rest is in the Weems Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.

Ann, a retired shirt folder in the clothing manufacturing business, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at her home in Dickson. A native of Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Carlton and Artie Vick Weems Bowen. Ann retired from Red Cap Industries, made dolls at the Senior Citizens Center, and was a member of the Pomona Baptist Church. Survivors include husband Elbert Ashworth of Dickson; son Gary Kimbro and his wife Rhonda of Cumberland Furnace; daughter Melissa Knight of Dickson; two step-daughters Kathy McGee and husband David of Goodletts-ville, Penny Annesi and husband Joe of Fairview; grandchildren Dustin Sharp, Allison Sharp; eight step-grandchildren Trent Ashworth, Kelsey Annesi, Mary Annesi, Ashley Silva, David Bre-wington, Lee Brewing-ton, Jason Potts, Bobbi Mangrum; five step-great grandchildren Carmella, Christopher, planned. Mrs.

Lindboe's wishes were to be cremated. She is preceded in death by parents William and Edna Kline Jenkins; son Theron Dwayne Edwards. She is survived in death by son Raymond Nolan Edwards (Lori) of Dickson; daughters April May Morris (Arthur) of Dickson, Mabel Lucille Maloney (Arthur) of New Bedford, 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Humane Society. Leslie Carl Forrester Visitation services will be held for Leslie Carl Forrester, 50, of Dickson on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 8 am to 8 pm at Spann Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home. Interment will be in Taylor Town Cemetery in Hurricane Mills. Mr. Forrester is preceded in death by parents Leslie and Wanda Woolverton Forrester. He is survived by sisters Teresa Forrester of Chicago, 111 and Diane Case (Jim) of Dickson; nephews Justin Wilson, William Forrester, Franklin Forrester, James Case; nieces Ginger Forrester, Tiffany Gusman, Brandy Wilson, Melody Forrester, Courtney Tidwell and Jasania Forrester.

Arrangements by Spann Funeral Home. Jake, Nick, Jaden, and her beloved cat Robert Larry 'Worm' Cocke Mr. Robert Larry "Worm" Cocke was born December 10, 1949 to Robert H. and Gertie (Ashworth) Cocke in Davidson County. He passed away June 24, 2012 at the Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Nanette D. Cocke; sons Larry Wayne Cocke and his wife Tamara and Mike Paul Cocke; daughter Jennie Bowman and her husband David; grandchildren Taylor, Briley, Alexis, Carley, Tate, Carter, and Carson. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Cocke was a member of the Taylor Town Church of Christ.

No visitation or services are scheduled at this time. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. At the request of the deceased and his family, the body will be cremated. Shirley Joanne Kiest Shirley Joanne Kiest, 77, wife of Larry Kiest and a resident of Char-lotte kiest The family will conduct memorial services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home of Franklin is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.

Shirley was born Sept 3, 1934 in Leverette, 111 and was one of four children of George Peters and Marie Rutledge Peters. She was retired as the head cook for the ChampagneUrbana School System. Following retirement, she and her husband relocated to Tennessee in the early 1980's. In her free time, Shirley loved visiting a flea market or good yard sale. It allowed her the opportunity to be out around people and see new sights.

Her greatest joy came in having the opportunity to help other people. She loved going out to eat with friends and family whenever possible. Her gift of selflessness will be remembered and missed by those who loved her. Honor her legacy. Shirley is survived by husband Larry Kiest of Charlotte; daughters Brenda Marie McCallis-ter of Dickson, Linda Martin of McEwen, Glen-da Hodges of Charlotte, and Kimberly Spann of Dickson.

Additionally, she is survived by 16 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. TnFuner als com Evelyn Baker Ottaway Evelyn Baker Ottaway died June 19, 2012 in Wichita, her home for over seventy years. She was born in Dickson May 27, 1921, the only child of the late Virgil Carter and Sarah (Nelson) Baker and grew up on their Mt.

Sinai Road farm. After graduation from Dickson High School in 1939, she worked at the Vultee Aircraft plant in Nashville where she met her husband Harold Ottaway of Wichita. They were married August 18, 1941 and he preceded her in death in 2003. She is survived by her son Harold (Lucretia) and daughter Sally; grandchildren Luther (Emily) Ottaway, Vickery (Ivan) Gonzalez, and Nash Ottaway; greatgrandchildren Abigail Ottaway, Asher White, and Veda Gonzalez, all of Wichita. She is also survived by first cousins Georgia L.

Baker of Dickson, Carter G. Baker of Nashville, and Ailsie Baker McEnteggart of Chico, Ca. Burial was at Kechi Township Cemetery in Wichita. Arrangements by Broadway Mortuary, Wichita. Gracie Marie Pearson Gracie Marie Pearson, 64, of Clarksville died June 22, 2012 at Vander-bilt Medical Center in Nashville.

Pearson was born February 3, 1948 in Davidson County. She is preceded in death by parents Walter and Gracie (Clemmons) Pearson and survived in death by sons Steve Spann of Clarksville, Tony Spann (Shelia) of Cumberland City; brother J.C. Pearson of Las Vegas, sister Bobbie Jean Bailey of Smyrna and one grandchild. At the request of the deceased and her family, the body will be cremated. There is no service planned at this time.

Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home. Gladys May Buttrey Graveside and family services were held for Gladys May Buttrey Friday, June 22, 2012 in the Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview. Buttrey died on June 18, 2012 at the Texo-ma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born March 13, 1926 in Hickman County. She is preceded in death by husbands Norman N.

Hudgins and Mr. Buttrey and parents Sylvestor H. and Clara L. (Shouce) Still. She is survived by son Louis Hudgens of Henderson-ville; daughter Nolen Bevis of Texas.
