The Family Health Center of Ashland City has hired a new family nurse practitioner, Joni Bauguss, APN.

Bauguss (pronounced grad- ated from the nurse ractitioner program at anderbilt University chool of Nursing in Aug ust 2014 and started working in Ashland City in November. Bauguss is a graduate of Harding University in earcy, and a native of South Dakota. She moved to Nashville in 2010 as a registered nurse in pediatric emergency room, where she continued to work while she went through the nurse practitioner program. She and her husband, Ean, live in Bellevue. The Family Health Center of Ashland City is at 342 Frey St.

Bauguss works full- ime to replace the three nurse practitioners who were job-sharing: Susan Johnson, Ginny Dolezal a nd Louisa Altman, while Altman will con- tinue to work at the Family Health Center when another provider is sick or on vacation.
