THE TENNESEAN, Friday, Feb. 16. 1973 Parents Held In Girl's Death DUCKTOWN, Tenn. -(UPI) Clyde Lachance, 31, and his wife, Donna, were arraignad: yesterday. on charges of murdering their 8-year-old daughter whose body was found in a shallow grave almost a year ago.

Lachance: was brought here tor. the arraignment: from prison: in Illinois where he been serving a 3-to-5 year term for abusing a young son. His wife had been free on $10,000 bond. STATE of Tennessee charged the couple had bedten their daughter, Kimberly, to death in January 1972. Lachance had.

reported the girly as missing from their home in the Grassy, Creek community near Copperhill, just over. the Georgia state line. The girl's. body was found by rescue workers, March 30, 1972. Her parents, who said Kimberly disappeared from Kimberly disappeared.

The full amount of the deposit for one set of documents and onehalf of the deposit fer any additional duplicate sets of documents will be refunded to each bidder who submits a formal bid to the City of Lebanon, Tennessee, and who also returns the documents in good condition to the Office of the Commissioner of Public Works within ten (10) days after his bid security has been returned to him. Equipment manufacturers, subcontractors and others who do not submit formal bids to the City of Lebanon will be refunded onehalf the amount of the deposit for all sets of complete documents returned in good condition to the Office of the Commissioner of Public Works within ten (10) days after the opening of bids. No refund will be made for documents received after this ten-day period. BID SECURITY Each proposal shall be accompanied by certified or cashier's check, or satisfactory bid bond, payable to the order of City of Lebanon, Tennessee, in an amount not less than five per cent of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will within fifteen (15) days after the date of the award of contract execute an agreement and file bonds and insurance as required by the Contract Documents if his proposal is accepted.

If an intended awardee fails to execute and file an agreement, bonds and insurance as required by the Contract Documents, the amount of the check submitted with his proposal shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. LICENSE It will be necessary for each bidder to show evidence of li-. cense before submitting bid in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 135 of the Public Acts or 1945 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, same being Sections 62-601 through 62-622 ef the Tennessee Code Annotated. HOLDING OF PROPSALS No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of proposals without the consent of the City of Lebanon for period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of closing bids.
