Wednesday, November 7, 1990 at Jackson Park Christian about eight months as a corrections officer assigned to the Metro Workhouse.

"The allegations and the charges will be investigated by the sheriffs office. We will certainly investigate By ELLEN MARGULIES State Writer GALLATIN A Davidson County corrections officer who also works as a reserve police officer in Sumner County was arrested here yesterday and charged with sexual battery and rape involving two 14-year-old boys, officials said. Dale Davidson, 30, of Cottontown, a reserve officer with the White TTnucA Pnlia rtannrtmpnl lvac Home. Survived by daughters, Nancy Coe, Marilyn McAlister and Carl Hunter, sons, Lee Cassetty the boy became intoxicated, Davidson carried him into the bedroom and fondled him, affidavits say. On Sept 23, Davidson coerced the other victim to drink until he "became sick to his stomach and went to rest on the bed.

While he was sleeping he was awakened by Davidson rubbing his chest" affidavits say. Davidson proceeded to perform sexual acts on the victim, who "pretended to be unconscious during this for fear Davidson would kill him," affidavits say. Officials with the Davidson County Sheriffs Department confirmed that Davidson has worked there for Jeff Puccini. "Last month, two juveniles and their parents came to my office and reported this Davidson subject has taken them to his house and gotten them intoxicated and raped Puccini said. Davidson had apparently met the youths, who are from Robertson County, previously while working as a security agent at an auction in White House, Puccini said.

According to affidavits, the charges stem from incidents on Sept 9 and 23 when Davidson took both boys to his home at 1840 Garrison Branch Road in Cottontown. On Sept 9, Davidson gave one of the victims whisky to drink. When charged with two counts of sexual battery involving one of the teens and two counts of rape involving the other male. Davidson was arrested yesterday morning at the Sumner County Sheriff's Department and is free on $50,000 bond, said detective this and we will take whatever action we deem necessary," said Jim Hillin, administrative assistant to the sheriff. White House Police Chief Jim Matthews could not be reached for comment but White House Mayor Billy Hobbs last night confirmed that Davidson has been working as a reserve officer for the city.

"This is quite a shock," Hobbs said last night "Of course, as a reserve officer they do not get salaries so they could simply be dismissed. But that might be premature at this point I'm sure we would not use Mr. Davidson as a reserve officer until the matter is cleared up." Davidson is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court here next Wednesday. and Tom Cassetty; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
