Booneville, IN Helen Delores Younker- Age 74. Affectionately know by her family and friends as Mimi. Passed away on Monday, April 23, 2001 at St. Thomas Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela (Thomas) Baucom, Gwendolyn (Miro) Carminati and Martha Storey; sons, Kevin and Kurt Storey; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Curt Younker of Nashville and Bobby Joe Younker of Seattle.

Washington; sister, Bobby Jean Stephensen of Albuquerque, N.M. Her nursing career began at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She then served at Vanderbilt University Hospital for 30 years, working as Head Nurse of the Onocology Unit and as Assistant to the Director of Nursing. She was a Member of the Retired Nurses Association and a founding Member of Christ Presbyterian Church. At her request, her body has been donated to Vanderbilt University for medical research.

Memorial services will be held at Benton Chapel on the Vanderbilt University Campus at 2 p.m. this Saturday the 28th of April. Visitation with family members will take place one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Nashville, TN 37203. (phone 327-1085) She is loved and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
