Miss Bessie Leigh, with her short stories, hyld ti)e lltle fellows at close attention and only once was the least lack of attention shown. Down at the front little tots leaned forward In their seats, and with mouths open nnd little ears strained for evory word, followed the tnlkor as closely as could haw been done by people years older. With the exception of "Dixie." the music did not seem to appeal particularly to the children, but It won a rare treat for the older people present. Th-a Hnrmony Company is composed of Mr.

and Mrs. Arthur Mctntyre and Miss Mynn Cogswell, assisted by Miss Leigh. This was their first effort at entertaining nn audience of children, nnd, all thlngB considered, they did it admirably wall. The program' rendered Tuesday was the heaviest of the course, and those which are to follow are expected to prove even more pleasing to the little ones. Those who like fun, lots of tun and laughn every minute, will get It at the next attraction.

Seven more attractions are yet to come, and each Is yxpected to bo better than the ones (previous until the final closing entertainment by Jial Merton, the musician and ventriloquist. A special effort will be made by the Commercial Travelers' Nursery Commission -to sell another thousand tickets between now and Nov. L'0. Committees have been appointed to visit the business men of the city, while the Rlue Bureau will send expert solicitors to th'e residential sections. Nobody will be overlooked, and tho sale of season tickets nt 50 cents each will continue right up to the tlmo of the next show.

With one or two vsxcepllons, the chil'-dren's matinee course is the same as the course for tho grown-ups given hi' tije Rice Bureau. No restrictions arc maae as to who' may purchase tickets, and those people who cannot attend the night attractions are earnestly urged to purchase tickets to the matinee course.
