It is an every day expression: "Did you ever know or hear of anything to equal 'House's Indian Tonic, for the cure of Chills or Ague and Fever." Not long since, a highly respectable Physician, who uses it in hi practice extensively, sent us word that its name should be changed to "Never Fail." And similar evidence is received every week from the East and West, North and South, And hero is a small specimen from South Alabama. Hear what they say.

Cahaba, Dallas county, Alabama, May 1, 1848. 5 Dr. S. B. Crocheuon Dear Sir: It ia with plea sure that I write to you in behalf of my wife that after trying various ptesenptions and remedies for the cure if Chills and Fevers, my wife almost got.

discouraged in trying anything more, until yon spoke to me about the Indian Tonic, prepared by Geo. W. House, and before using one bottle of it the loathsome disease had entirely disappeared, and I cheer fully recommend it to all afflicted with tho CHILLS and FEVER. J. W.

HOULDITCH. Cahaba, Alabama, May 10, 1848. Dr. Crocfeeron This ia to certify that I have used ''Houses Indian Tonic" in a case of Chills and Feyer on myself, and it has entirely removed tho disease from my system, and advise all to use it who suffer from the CHILLS and FEVER. J.

P. FULKS. State of Alabama, Dallas County, June 21, 1848. I do hereby certify, that an acquaintance of mine had third duy CHILLS and FEVER for nine months, and after trying most of the popular remedies of the day without deriving any benefit, was cured by ono bottle of House's Indian Tonic. Also a permanent cure of one case of Chills and Fever was effected in my family by the use of half a bottle of said Tonic.

JAS. H. COLEMAN. Sept. 11 wtrw2m Oray's Invaluable Ointment.

FOR the cure of Mercurial and all other kinds of Ulcers, of long or short standing, White Swelling, Scrofulous and other Tumors, Sore Legs, Old or Fresh Wounds, Sprains, Bruises, Burns, Scalds, Swellings, lnflamations, Rheumatic or other Pains, Chilblains, Women's Sore Breasts whether inflamed or deeply ulcerated, Scald-head or Tetter, Whet-lows or Felons, Boils, Cancerous Affections, Eruptions, Poison Oak Vino, Dog, Snake, Spider, and other poisonous bites together with almost every species of external diseuse. Truth ia Stranger than Fiction. No other medicine has made so many remarkable cures as "Gray's Ointment By its use, hundreds have been kept from lingering out a painful existence in Hospitals and Infirmaries and no one should ever be without a box, to be used when required. One truth like, the following, does away all conjecture and carries conviction home to the mind, with a force not to be resisted. Do read it, and then speak of it to your friends: Wharton Place, Davidson April 5tb, 1847.

W. W. Gray Dear Sir: It is with pleasure that I am able to testify to the truly valuable effects of your Ointment. I know it to bj exceedingly efficacious in the removal of many loathsome and afflictive diseases. In Scrofulous affections of the joints and muscles in supuratioti of the glands and caries of the bones, I regard it, as an invaluable application.

I have often recommended it in old and. indolent ulcers in one case of Twenty Years standing, occupying nearly the whole space between the knee and ankle, in which case it effected a permanent cure. Its effects in changing the nature of those filthy secretions, which accompany Scrofulous and Ulcerous cases of long continuance, are astonishing. From a thin watery exudation of different colors, (generally bluish or slightly green, and extremely offensive,) the discharge under the use of this Ointment, becomes thick, cream-like, and nearly inodorusV Tho red, irritable and evened edgeB of the sore becomes depressed, pain an i inflamation subsides, and healthy granulation ensues. In short, the use of this Ointment nc-ccmpanyedby the skilful application of the bandage, and suitable constitutional treatment would remove thousands of those cutaneous maladies, which are too often pronounced incurable, and their unfortunate subjects permitted to languish in pain for years, and to die at last with accumulated suffering.

Yours, JOSEPH A. BOWMAN, M. D. Druggists, Physicians, Venders and the public at large ore informed that those who purchase from Geo. VV.
