V.E. Parham and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Richard Lee Tapscott Richard Lee Tapscott, 58, of Springfield died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at his home. He was born March 22, 1953 in Davidson County, son of the late Buford and Helen Malin Tapscott.

He worked as a structural steel inspector at Wylie Steel in Springfield. Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 2 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Neil Pedi-go officiating. Mr. Tapscott is survived by his wife, Freda Flair Tapscott of Springfield; son, Larry (Heather) Flair Jr. of Kingston Springs; grandchildren, Reid Lind-strom and Paige Dennis; sisters, Benna Wagner of Atlanta and Trisha Tapscott of Nashville; brothers, David Tapscott and Teddy Tapscott, both of Nashville.

Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Charles Wilkins Charlie Wilkins, 68, of Greenbrier died suddenly Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at NorthCrest Medical Center. He was born in Paris, Tenn. on July 12, 1943 to Claude W.

Wilkins and Maudell McFadden Wil He was a Wilkins member of Springfield Baptist Church. A celebration of his life was held Friday, March 2 at the Greenbrier Chapel of Austin Bell Funeral Home with his nephew, Andrew Ivey, leading the celebration. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janet Fielder Wilkins; son, John Ross "J.R." Wilkins (Misty Wallace) of Maynardville; daughters, Jacqueline Tal-lent of Jackson and Rhonda (Chad) Richardson of Springfield; sister, Carole Afflick of Morristown; sister-in-law, Reba Wilkins of Seymour; special family friend, Fran Belt of Morris-town; six grandchildren, Austin Wilkins, Sean Wilkins, Garrett Tallent, Cody Richardson, Emily Richardson and Elizabeth Richardson. 29, 2012 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Saturday in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Freeman officiating. Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bryant, Chad, Matt, and Kenny Crabtree, Mark and Scott Williams, and Bo Roth.

Honorary pallbearers were the members of American Legion Post 48. Mr. Moudy was born July 28, 1924 in Robertson County, son of the late Joseph Edward and Delia Ward Moudy Sr. He was the owner and operator of Ed Charles Auto Parts. Mr.

Moudy was a member of Grace Baptist Church, American Legion Post 48, and the Hardee's breakfast club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Dorris Crabtree Moudy. Mr.

Moudy is survived by step-sons, John (Diane) Crabtree of Springfield, Roger (Ann) Crabtree of Colt, Ernest (Susan) Crabtree of Meridianville, Douglas (Larana) Crabtree of Phoenix, step-daughter, Kathleen (Jim) Williams of Sheffield, sister, Ruth Parks of Bristol; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Edward Arthur Pella Edward Arthur Pella, 65, of Goodlettsville died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at Christian Care Center in Springfield.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 5 at the Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home in Pataskala, Ohio with Mon-signor David Funk as celebrant. Mr. Pella was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Pataskala. He was born March 30, 1946 in Kittanning, son of the late Emil E. and Helen J.

Kornasiewicz Pella. He was a retired computer technician and a communicant of the Catholic Church. Mr. Pella was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in Vietnam.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Round Pella. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Lynn (Derek) Buchwalter of Pickington, Ohio and Holly (Leonard) Taylor of Springfield; brother, Rich Pella of Ford City, and sister, Ellen Pella of Ford City, Pa. GeorgeE. Robertson 89, of Vista, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012. A full military service will be conducted on Friday, March 16 at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, Calif. Mr.

Robertson was born on Oc. 29, 1922 in Cedar Hill, son of the late George and Verdie Robertson. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn; daughter, Lisa Kay; and sister, Roberta Taylor. Mr. Robertson served in the United States Marine Corps from February 1941 to January 1962.

After retirement, he served as a United States Deputy Marshal. He is survived by his children, Larry, Kristi, George III and Paula; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Roberson of Springfield, and his sisters, Loretta Wix and Faye Winters, both of Springfield. Ernest Mitchell Ernest Mitchell, 64, of Springfield died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 at VA Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 3 at the South Haven Baptist Church with Dr. Frank Gagliano officiating. Interment followed in Memorial Gardens with full honors.

Pallbearers were Ed Lemley, Henry Vozka, Mark McLane, Elizabeth Leonard, JoAnn Gregory, Danny Johnson, Jimmy Grogan, and Ricki Heath-erly. Mr. Mitchell was born Dec. 25, 1947 in Ft. Jackson, S.C., son of the late Hilton and Emma Jean McGeorge Mitchell.

He served in the U.S. Army, during Vietnam. Mr. Mitchell was a retired Corporal from the Springfield Police Department. He was a member of South Haven Baptist Church.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Cindy Burgess Mitchell of Springfield; sons, Dewayne Mitchell of South Carolina, Steven Mitchell and Dustin Mitchell, both of Springfield; daughters, Angie Mitchell of South Carolina and Michelle Henley of Springfield; brother, Chuckie Stade of Greenbay, Wise; sisters, JoAnn Keller of Springfield, Mary Paige of Springfield and Jeannie Mitchell of Alabama; and 10 grandchildren. Alma Nicholson Moore Alma Nicholson Moore, 85, of Pleasant View, died Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Spring Meadows Health Care Center in Clarksville. Funeral services were Jinnette Nichol-W son.

She was a Moore home-maker and a member of Good Springs Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Moore brothers, Jerry Ray Nicholson, James Albert Nicholson, Billy Wayne Nicholson; sisters, Sally Pearl Hardy, Shirley Ann Perry, Alice Lawson, and Maydene Pendergraft. Survivors include her son, Donald Ray "Don" and Brenda Moore of Springfield; brothers, Robert and Nancy Nicholson W.H. "Wimp" and Rachel Nicholson, J. W.
