Juliet, TN. Mr. Sikes was a retired Rutherford County farmer. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Murfreesboro, TN where he served as an elder, a member of the choir and Sunday school teacher. He served many years as a scout leader and managed Fairfield Farms, where he and his wife had a riding school for over 40 years.

Survived by wife of 63 years, Judith Browning; son, LeWright Browning Sikes of Antioch; daughters, Judith Keith Ferrell of Grand Rapids, MI, Mary McCulloch German of Mt. Juliet, Lucy Meriwether Karnes of Lawrenceburg, Martha Thompson Felker of Mt. Juliet, and Jane Warner Clark of Elizabeth, CO; sister, Frances Johnson of Louisville, KY; 13 grandchildren; 7 greatgrandchildren. Memorial Service at the First Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro, TN Friday, June 9, 2006, at 11 a.m. The Reverends Dr.

David Garth and William Karnes will officiate. Visitation with the family at the church in the Commons Hall immediately following the service. The body has been donated to Van-derbilt University for research. Memorial gifts may be made to Alive Hospice or The First Presbyterian Church. STILTS, Jeffrey Alan Age 43 of Lebanon, TN, died June 6, 2006.

Jeff was a 1981 graduate of Castle Heights Military Academy, a volunteer firefighter for Mt. Juliet for several years, and a volunteer at Mt. Juliet Senior Citizen Canter. He was secretarytreasur-er of Double Enterprises. Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Stilts; paternal grandparents, John Horace and Delia Stilts, and maternal grandparents, Roy and Gladys Burner.

He is survived by wife, Sheila Stilts of Lebanon, TN; father, Jerry Stilts of Mt. Juliet, TN; children, Shane (Angela) Barrett of Cookeville, TN, Trevor Barrett of Houston, TX and Brandi (Doug) Ashburn of Cookeville, TN; brothers, Doug (Ka-thy) Stilts and Robert (Karen) Stilts, both of Mt. Juliet, TN; sister, Libby (Pat) Owens of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Ashlee Baker, Kristin Barrett, Haleigh Barrett and Ethan Andrew Barrett; several nieces, nephew, aunts and uncles.
