She is survived by a daughter, Day W.

BARBARA ANN BRACKIN Barbara Ann Brackin, 74, of Gallatin went to her heavenly home on March 15, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John "Buddy" Brackin; son, Dale A. (Pam) Brackin of Indianapolis; daughter, Janet L. (Bruce) Vahle of Indianapolis; grandsons, Dale A. Brackin James D.

active farmer and proudly served on the Sumner County Regional Planning Commission from 1993 until 2007, during a time of exponential growth in the county. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Portland. Grove is survived by his wife of 58 years, Winnie; sons, Curtis Grove (Teresa) of Portland and Kevin (Judi) of Austin, TexasNorthville, Mich; grandchildren, Trevor Grove, Thomas Grove, Gabriela Castillo and Christiana Castillo; and sister, Dorothy (J.B.) Grissom of Muncie, Ind. Funeral services were held at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home in Portland on March 12 with Brother Greg McCoy officiating and interment followed at Old Brush Cemetery in Portland. Broadway, Portland, TN 37148. HARRY SWANEY BARNES Harry Swaney Barnes, 77, of Gallatin passed away March 16, 2010. Graveside services were March 18 at Crestview Memorial Park with Brother Brent Hall officiating. He was born in Gallatin on Oct. 27, 1932, son of the late James Solon Barnes and Valeria Allen Bay Barnes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen Bowles Barnes; stepgrand-son, Loren Wayne Lassiter; sisters, Nancy Appleby, Mildred Lee and Katherine Jones; and a brother, Jimmy Barnes. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Westmoreland; daughters, Frankie (Dewayne) Tucker of Castalian Springs, Kim (Ron) Orr of the Sideview community, Paula (Ricky) Stafford of Gallatin, Robbin (Joe) Adcock of Gallatin and Toni Angel of Indianapolis; stepdaughter, Regina Carpenter of Lafayette; stepson, Tommy (Debbie) Isenburg of Hendersonville; 15 grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren. DOROTHY MAY RIGSBY Dorothy May Rigsby, 74, of Greenbrier passed away March 15, 2010 at Bordeaux Long Term Care in Nashville. She was born in Arab, to her late parents, Ed and Mary Ellen Dunn Shaver. She was also preceded in death by husband, Floyd Rigsby; son, Barry Rigsby; and brothers, Butch, Sandford, Gene and Ermon. Services were March 18 with the Rev.

Michael Smith officiating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd E. (Betty) of Nashville, Ernest N. (Sandy) of White House, Wesley E.

(Kathy) of Joelton and Randall Rigsby of White House; daughter and son-in-law, Reba Dawn (Shawn) Young of Spring Hill; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Austin Bell Funeral Home in White House was in charge of arrangements. JOHNNY RAY ADAMS Johnny Ray Adams, 57, of Gallatin passed away March 14, 2010. Funeral services were March 17 at Alexander Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Gallatin Cemetery with Jamie Alcaraz, Chris Alcaraz, Tony Escue and Glenn Escue serving as pallbearers.

He was born in Sumner County on Jan. 25, 1953. He was preceded in death by his father, Avriett Adams. He is survived by his mother, Eunice Adams of Hendersonville; his wife, Donna Hill Adams of Manchester; daughters, Vanessa Hill and Jamie Alcaraz both of Manchester; brothers, Jimmy Adams of Cotton-town and Larry Adams of Hendersonville; sister, Carolyn Hawkins of Hendersonville; aunt, Patsy (Bobby) Farley of Gallatin; uncles, Donald (Nola) Escue of Portland and Billy Electric in Indianapolis for 32 years. Funeral services were March 18 at the Gallatin Funeral Home at Crestview with Brother Jonathan England of Bush's Chapel and P.J.

Hardy of Lexington, officiating. Interment followed in the Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis. BRANDE NICOLE BUTLER Brande Nicole Butler, 33, of Gallatin passed away March 14, 2010. Graveside services were March 16 at Crestview Memorial Park with Dr. Larry Gilmore officiating. Butler was born in Sumner County on Jan. 16, 1977, daughter of David "Rusty" Butler and Sandra Shannon Butler.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bob E. Butler. She is survived by her parents, David and Sandra Butler of Christiana, great-grandmother, Lillie M. Butler; grandparents, Ed and June Shannon and Faye S. Butler, all of Gallatin; and sister, Lacie (Travis) Nichols of Aiken, S.C.; nieces, Emma and Elle Nichols; her loving devoted companion, Jeffery Rosasco of Gallatin; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were March 18 at Family Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Don Craighead and Dennis Crowder officiating. Interment followed in Crestview Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers. She was born in Rives, daughter of Warner P. and Flora Hatcher Crowder.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Jean Viola Camble RHk oi Dallas and Mat-tie Johnson of Gallatin; uncles, James Carey of Carey Gallatin and Jerry (Delores) Carey of Madison; and a host of loving family and friends. Funeral services will be March 19 at 2 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Buckta officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park with Matt Chambers, Blake Chambers, Brent Edens, Alan Klingler, Stephen Chambers, Mike Brewer, Ed Carmack and Dwain Hickman serving as pallbearers. He was a mail carrier for the Gallatin Post Office for more than 25 years, served in World War II and was a member of the Gallatin Free Methodist Church.

He was born in Sumner County on March 21, 1924, son of the late Thomas Reed and Unna Malone Chambers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lucille Chambers. He is survived by son, Reed (Debra) Chambers of Murfreesboro; daughters, Carolyn Car-mack of Brentwood and Patsy (Ed) Carmack of Santa Ana, Calif, and Mary Love Chambers of Nashville; brother, Ray (Peggy) Chambers of Nashville; embrace of his heavenly Father on March 9, 2010 after a sudden illness. Grove He was born in McMinnville, on Sept. 24, 1924, and was the son of the late Charlie and Bertha Bouldin Grove.

He was raised in the Pleasant Cove community of Warren County, and after graduating from Warren Central High School, he proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He later moved to Portland where he met his wife, Winnie Bolding Grove and they were married on Nov. 30, 1951 in Franklin, Ky. Grove worked for Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation until he retired in 1986 as a district engineer after 34 years of service.

Grove loved motor sports and was a crew member on Bobby Celsor's 1960 track championship team at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. He was also an The Sumner County Museum will open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The museum is open on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
